Poetry.
Poem 1.
Mini representation of an old school cafe. |
Come on in, we are open
Sit yourself down, we’ll put your toast in
Come on in, we are open
Need a coffee? Extra sugar? Milk in?
Come on In, we are open
Get yourself comfortable, our arms are open
Poem 2.
Representation of a couple in the 50s/60s. |
And that's when the
rain started. But this time,
it wasn't in her head. She could feel it on
her skin.
Just the dampness of it touching her fingertips,
changed everything.
For the first time,
since the start of summer, she felt
alive and less alone in
the world.
